Frequently Asked Questions
Topic: Driver's License Reinstatment

Q:How can I get my driver's license reinstated?

In order to be reinstated, you must comply with your court order by:

  • Paying current support and 25% of the support obligation to be applied to the arrears through wage withholding, and make a lump-sum payment.
  • Self-employed NCP's will complete a consent agreement to pay current support plus an additional 25% of the support obligation towards the arrears and make a lump -sum payment.

Once in compliance, the Office of Child Support Services will issue a License Suspension Compliance Letter. If you fail to comply with the payment schedule your name will be resubmitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
